NEW YORK AND QUEBEC CITY TRAVEL DIARY

I never know where my life will take me next, but for sure to amazing places.
I got the chance to visit for the second time New York and I went for the first time to Canada, well Canada is massive, that was just a starter, a little appetizer that made me hungry for more.

I only spent few days in New York city but they were pretty intense, it was sunny, snowy, rainy, I had it all but I tried to make the most of my time there. New York is so overwhelming, with its noises, smells, people from all over the world rushing and hustling all the time; I didn’t even know where to start exploring, I wanted to be everywhere at the same time and eat my way out, that’s what I did, I found amazing coffee shops, breakfast and lunch spots, most of them were vegan or vegetarian friendly, and I have to say that I had amazing food experiences, vegetarian food in New York  is next level.

At the end you can find the links of the places I loved.

New York here I come, it was a zero waste kind of flight for me because I made my own bento box with sweet potato, tofu, broccoli, and sauerkraut, haha yes no comment. Airplanes are already bad for the environment, I know, but I’m trying to do whatever I can to waste as less as possible.

My favorite, still drooling over my vegan quesadillas at The butcher daughter

Pistacchio cake and cortado at Loosie’s Cafe

Delicious coffee at Devocion

Vegan ramen at Ivan Ramen (you should watch the ramen episode of chefs table if you have not yet), egg shop and ChaCha matcha , thank you Elina for the recommendation! My matcha was divine.

Australians do it better, yes they do! hands up for  Blue Stone Lane

and this is another Australian coffee spot, the best of the best of the best, that banana bread covered in espresso mascarpone cream, oh gosh, I would fly back just for another last bite. Two hands, just go!

New York is Love Love Love

Let it snow!

HELLO FREEZING QUEBEC CITY

I was in Quebec city for a wedding, my first time in Canada, my first time in a very cold county. I’m so grateful for that amazing experience and for all the people I met there.

Quebec is such a pretty city, quite small, it’s perfect for a weekend get away (if you luck to love in Canada or USA), it has this european touch but with its own twist. Loved every pretty corner!

I took more photos with my phone this time because my hands were always frozen, it was quite hard to adjust the settings on my camera so kept it easy.

Cold Canada I’m ready for you, killing time at the airport getting back to emails, work never stops.

Turmeric latte at this beautiful spot, La Serra

Healthy stuff at Freshii, and less healthy but still delicious vegan burger at Chic Shack

Soba love at Bols et Pokè

My cute Airbnb, I could move in

Delicious cappuccino and ginger/pears muffin at Cafe Saint Henri , plus I loved the clean interior, great place to work from with your laptop, that’s what I did.

Anther favorite, especially when outside is snowy and cold, energy boll and cappuccino at Maelstrøm Saint Roch

Canadian dollars, hello queen! and my camera gears.

It’s never to cold for a smoothie bowl, I went twice there because it was too good to be true. Blender juice bar top top top

Strolling around the old town

minus 17 degrees, yep, so much respect for the people who live in such extreme weather conditions.

Goodbye beloved Quebec City , I hope I’ll be back soon to explore more of this beautiful part of Canada.
