A Baroque vineyard wedding in Italy, the one of Olivia and Thomas, set between the Prosecco hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, in the northeast of Italy, not far from Venice. The landscape is characterized by the hills ridges, small terraced vineyard, forests, villages, and crops, which was recently recognized by Unesco as a World Heritage Site.
The couple stayed at Villa Morona de Gastaldis ( book your stay here or here), an elegant 18th-century Venetian villa, for the wedding weekend.
The bride and groom’s dresses are high fashion creation strictly made in Italy. The brides’ dress, in fine laces in shades of green and bronze, is a creation of the designer Elisabetta Delogu who creates exclusively unique pieces. Instead, the groom wears limited edition, in precious Italian silk brocade in shades of gold, signed by Cleofe Finati.
For the bride’s hairstyle and bouquet, the setting up of the table, and the sweet table, Elisa (from Anneris Flower Farm) has chosen a mix of unconventional, strictly organic flowers that grows herself: dahlia, hydrangea, and yarrow for a palette that is as classic as it is luxurious in shades of white and green. Bunches of grapes and pomegranate completed the baroque compositions.
White and gold were also chosen by Papermedia for the wedding stationery: from the participations to the accessories for the banquette and ceremony.
After the intimate ceremony, they had a wonderful surprise for the guests: a wine tasting tour at one of the most evocative cellar-museum in the world at Da Gigetto restaurant in Miane: with its 1500 labels and 36.000 bottles it is one of the temples of the wines most famous in Europe.
The breathtaking view of belvedere at sunset was the perfect setting for a series of unforgettable shots.
The dinner followed and it could only be set among the vineyards, full of grapes ready for the harvest.
The full moon high in the sky, made the night even more magical.
After the wedding night, the couple didn’t miss to celebrate their wedding with a rich and delicious breakfast in their hotel room.
