Stephanie and Dan flew from Florida to Amsterdam with their closest friends and family, and we flew in from Venice to document their love story.
I was extremely happy to be back in Amsterdam after living there for four years, and Oriel was thrilled to be there for the first time.
The first day we were there, we photographed their engagement, and the next day, they hosted a small boat party for their guests. It was rainy and gloomy, just like I remembered and loved Amsterdam.
The third day was the wedding, which took place in a venue I adore, Amsterdam’s tallest building, the Loft, A’dam Tower.
The ceremony was intimate and emotional; even I had difficulty holding back tears. The sun then appeared, gifting us with a magical sunset.
I enjoy micro weddings for several reasons. First, I get to know all of the guests and their families, which allows me to tell better stories. Furthermore, I don’t have to rush from one moment to the next, but I can devote the appropriate amount of time to each one.
Thank you Stephanie and Dan for having us, we had a blast capturing your wedding, we hope our paths will cross again soon, hopefully in sunny Florida the next time.
